The Addams Family The Musical

Designing for an up coming production of The Addams Family The Musical.

My initial thought was the design should sit somewhere between the film designs and the Broadway artwork that already existed. The campaign would need artwork that could be used as a teaser with no cast associated,  then progress into later stages that would show the full cast, post opening.

After finding a font that I found to suit the subject perfectly I then went about adapting the font to give it even more personality and introducing a spider dropping down from another letter to form the 'i'.

Concepts formed by getting to grips with the Addam's personalities and using their humour and strangeness to convey the mood and feeling of the production.
