Private Lives

Private Lives at the Gielgud Theatre - starring Anna Chancellor and Toby Stephens. The artwork had to look sophisticated and focus on the cast. Using fashion photography as a reference point a photo shoot then took place where the cast where asked to try out different poses relating to the narative.

Pre-opening campaign used a close crop of the imagery, creating a well balanced composition with the actors instantly recognisable. Leaving the copy to work well off the black, bottom right. Post opening and quote campaign saw a shift in compostion as more room was needed for copy. Using the strong brand colour and introducing it as the background gave plenty of room for the quotes to sit above.
