Initial request was to create a logo/brand for Robin Cousins' ICE, a live stage ice skating spectacular. I wanted to design a logo that felt it had movement and elegance to mimic the actions of an Ice Skater. I found that combining a rigid heavy sans serif font with a lower case serif font for the C, I could then manipulate the arrangement to give the impression of movement as well as adding the elegance.

The logo then needed a texture on top to give the impression of ice and a solid blade like surface, which was achieved by using an AlienSkin filter.
